A big thank you to the entire IIHE IT team for their heroic effort in moving the Tier-2 infrastructure! This marks an important milestone for the institute.
After 17 years at the ULB/VUB data center on the ULB Solbosch campus, the IIHE Tier-2 has successfully been relocated to a brand-new facility in Zellik, within the Nexus complex.
The move involved relocating 90 servers, providing T2 services, 12PB of data and 6000 cores
Everything went smoothly thanks to the outstanding work of our IT team: Adriano, Denis, Olivier, Romain, Shkelzen, Stéphane — with support from the ULB and VUB IT departments, as well as the Nexus team.
